Dave Mustaine a annoncé que le bassiste James LoMenzo partira en tournée avec Megadeth pour la deuxième étape du « The Metal Tour Of The Year ». Mustaine a fait l’annonce dans un article sur les réseaux sociaux reconnaissant l’anniversaire de LoMezo. La tournée métal de l’année comprend Megadeth, Lamb Of God, Trivium et In Flames. LoMenzo est revenu à Megadeth pour la première étape du Metal Tour Of The Year en août après le départ de David Ellefson. LoMenzo a joué avec Megadeth de 2006 à 2010. Il revient strictement pour la tournée. Le remplaçant permanent d’Ellefson n’a pas encore été annoncé.
